Admin/Youth Pastor: Mike Campfield

I was born in Yakima, Washington to Ginny and Jerral Campfield (the best Christian parents a kid could want). My dad was a farmer in Harrah, WA before moving our family to the great city of Onalaska, Washington. The reason for the move? He became a pastor the start of my 10th grade year in high school. Something I said I’d never do… I graduated from Saint Martin’s College in Olympia with a Master’s Degree in Education, with a counseling certificate. My wife, Monica (my high school sweetheart) and I moved to Ferndale where I was the school counselor at Vista Middle School for 10 years. Thinking we wanted to move ‘home’, we moved to Centralia where I worked as high school counselor for one year. God had something else in store…Both Monica and I felt the Lord stirring our hearts to move back to Lynden. Faith Community Church offered me the position as youth pastor and we said no (remember my comments to my dad?). Through remarkable circumstance (call me and I’ll explain), the Lord said YES and we moved back. I am the admin/youth pastor at FCC and a half time counselor at Blaine Middle School. Monica is my awesome Godly wife and we have two wonderful boys, Brycen and Derek.
